Chapter Four: Santalune Forest Fall Down!

Last time on Pokemon: The Misadventures of Kalos!, After being a captive to Team Flare and being separated, Turk and Serena try to find ways to escape Team Flare but get into a quick stump. Serena has her Fennekin taken and is stuck in a jail cell with Dedenne while being mocked by Hansel and Gretel once more. After, Serena meets up with Mia and escape once and for all while Turk escapes with the help of Fennekin and they all meet up as one. Finally in a final showdown with Hansel and Gretel, The Dedenne defeat the two and send them off once and for all. Finally, being brought home with Tierno and Big Poppa, Serena accidentally unknowingly catches a miniature sized Dedenne.

"Wow! Look at all these Pokemon!" Turk said with excitement. "Hey, Big cous... Can I catch a Pokemon?" Mia asked. Turk knelt down, "Mia, I know you love Pokemon just as much as we are and I know you have your own but... It's just too dangerous for a girl your age." Turk explained. "But..." Mia slouched a little. "Hey, Mia. Why don't we both go over here and you can help me find a Pokemon. We can both try and catch it." Serena suggested. "Really? You would let me?" Mia asked. "Of course." Serena said. "Yaaay!!" Mia cheered.

Serena and Mia went off in a different location of the forest while Turk went on his own up ahead. That's when he saw a small, yellow little rodent.

"Ooooou! What Pokemon are you?" Turk said with interest, grabbing out his Pokedex.
"Pikachu, the Mouse Pokémon, and the evolved form of Pichu. It raises its tail to check its surroundings. The tail is sometimes struck by lightning in this pose.

"So you're a Pikachu!" Turk said grabbing out his Pokeball. The Pikachu quickly looked up at Turk and knew what was gonna happen. His pouches on his cheeks started to generate electricity. "Alright, Chespin go!!" Turk threw out. Pikachu and Chespin stood head to head. "Chespin, use Vine Whip!" Turk commanded. Chespin jumped up and shot out multiple vines towards Pikachu but it was quickly dodged with Agility. Pikachu then quickly turned around and smashed into Chespin, knocking him down. "You okay?" Turk asked. "Ches-pin." Chespin responded, he slowly got back up and faced the Pikachu again. "Alright! Let's show him one more time with a Body Slam!" Turk commanded. Once again as Chespin came in for an attack the Pikachu dodged it and then came back but this time with an electric attack. But, as Pikachu came in for the close, a small squid Pokemon appeared out of the blue and took the hit. "What the heck?" Turk said. Pikachu got up and ran away.

"Ink-ink." The Pokemon replied. Turk took out his Pokedex, "Inkay, The Revolving Pokémon. Opponents who stare at the flashing of the light-emitting spots on its body become dazed and lose their will to fight.

"Dang...Uh, Chespi-" As Turk was about to recall his Pokemon the whole floor collapsed and took Turk, Chespin and the Inkay with it. "Turk!!!" Serena gasped running towards the scene. A bunch of trainers gathered in shock. "What happened, Serena?" Mia asked. "Uhm, nothing... How about you and Fennekin go for a little stroll in the small area." Serena said. "Okay." Mia smiled. "You watch her and make sure she's okay, okay?" Serena told Fennekin.

"Uff.. What-what happened?" Turk said raising his head. He rubbed his head before he got up and looked around. "Where am I?" Turk said. Turk looked around again and just saw Chespin. "Chespin, are you okay?" Turk asked. Chespin got up and rubbed his head with a smile. "Good." Turk smiled back. "Now, where did that little jellyfish, squid Pokemon go?" Turk wondered. Both Turk and Chespin went off and wandered the underground. "Weird? Why is their a bunch of tunnels like someone built them here?" Turk wondered. Just then he saw a little bit of red hair. "No. It can't be.." He sighed. The hair revealed itself to be none other but Team Flare's Hansel and Gretel, but this time they were battling with an Inkay against another trainer. "Strange? That couldn't be the same Inkay, could it?" Turk said. Chespin shrugged.

"Now my beautiful little helpa- Use another gorgeous Psybeam!" Gretel commanded. The Inkay twirled around but stopped when he saw Turk and Chespin, he stopped what he was doing and flew over to them and hugged them tightly. "Uh.. Inkay?" Hansel said. "Hansel, do you see, it's that unstylish brat." Gretel reminded. "That is right, my Gretel." Hansel said. "Sandslash finish those weirdos off with a Hyper Beam!" The trainer commanded. The Sandslash jumped up and charged a quick Hyper Beam and launched the two Team Flare members out of the tunnel.

"Wow, what Pokemon is this?" Turk said, grabbing out his Pokedex. "Sandslash, the Mouse Pokémon. When it runs at full speed, it sends up a thick cloud of sand in order to hide itself.

"If you don't mind me asking, but who are you? How did you get down here?" The guy asked. He was wearing a cowboy type get up with boots and a cowboy hat. "Oh! My names, Turk. This is my Chespin and..well.. We we fell down here while battling this little guy." Turk explained. "So he's yours?" The guys asked. "Oh, no. I thought maybe he was caught by those goons?" Turk explained. "Well, anyhow. The names Girth and I own these tunnels down here." The guy introduced. "Nice to meet you. So are these tunnels leading somewhere?" Turk asked. "Yup! To a secret base." He explained. "A secret base?" Turk repeated. "Yup. Down in these tunnels are bases owned by the Tunnel Crew. They secure the bottoms of this place of Kalos and make sure crooks like them two before down disturb nothin'." Girth explained. "So is their a way out?" Turk asked. "Not until you reach the half mile? I'm surprised you two'in got down here?" Girth said. He started walking down the tunnel with Turk, Inkay and Chespin following behind. "I can try guiding you down, but it's gonna take a while?" Girth said. "How far?" Turk asked again. "About almost a few days." Girth said. "DAYS!!" Turk exclaimed. "Yup. Unless we can find shortcuts." Girth said. "Well, We have Chespin and Sandslash.. Maybe we can dig our way fast?" Turk suggested. "Does your lil Chespin'en know how to use that here Dig move?" Girth asked. "Hmm... I don't know??" Turk said.

Back above land, Serena is looking down the hole that Turk fell down, until out of the blue, she sees Hansel and Gretel pop up from under.

"You two!! I thought I smelled something fishy." Serena said, turning to them. "Fishy? Do you smell fish Hansel?" Gretel asked. "No, I can't say I do Gretel." Hansel answered. "You know what I mean." Serena said. "I can't say I do but.." Hansel stopped.

"Go, Houndour!"
"And you fight too, Zubat!!"

"Alright, Fennekin come on-" Serena stopped. "Wait.. I don't have Fennekin." Serena remembered. She fell to the ground as the evil Pokemon approached her. "Hey.. This isn't fair." Serena said, as she backed away. "Who said we play fair?" Hansel smirked.

Houndour jumped forward to attack Serena, She tried to guard herself with her arms but a Pokeball fell out of her purse. It opened up and a huge light appeared. Houndour stopped in his tracks as it revealed to be the miniature Dedenne.

"Dedenne??" Everyone said in sync. "I don't remember this one having a tiny mouse?" Hansel said. "Me either?" Gretel replied. "I..uh, didn't know either?" She said with a cheesy smile. The little Dedenne stared at the huge Houndour. "What is it doing?" Hansel asked. "I think it's trying to scare our darling Houndour." Gretel laughed. "Hah!" Houndour, fire blast!" Hansel commanded. Houndour couldn't move. "Houndour?" Hansel called out. "What's happening?" Serena said. The little Dedenne and Houndour kept locking it's eyes together. Serena grabbed out her Pokedex.

"Dedenne's Attacks, number one: Lear."

"Oh! It's using lear?" Serena said. "Enough with this baby playing, Hansel. Zubat use your Super Sonic Attack!" Gretel commanded. Zubat swooped right in. Serena whipped out her Pokedex quickly once again.

"Dedenne's Attacks, number two: Charm"

"Quick, Dedenne use Charm!!" Serena commanded. As Zubat was about to attack, Dedenne jumped up, bounced on Houndours head, twirled in a circle and sent hearts around Zubat. Zubat was hit with the hearts and stopped its attack, instead he swirled around in circles of love. "Zubat?" Gretel called out. "It's in love you idiot." Hansel said. "Now let's finish them off with a.." Serene looked up Dedenne's attacks once more.

"Dedenne's Attacks, number three: Parabolic Charge"

"With a Parabolic Charge!!" Serena shouted. Dedenne's cheeks charged with electricity, as he jumped high into the sky, a bolt of electricity flew off from it's tail and smashed right into the Team Flare members.

"Oh no, Hansel!" Gretel called out. "I can't believe we gonna be fried.." Hansel said as the beam hit them. They flew up into the sky and twinkled a little star up high. "Wow. Thank you, Dedenne." Serena said, petting his head. "Woh!" Mia said, coming out of the blue. "Mia! I thought you were with Fennekin?" Serena asked. "I was but then when we were walking, Fennekin fell in a hole and when I went to tell you, you were battling with this Dedenne." Mia explained. "My baby fell into a HOLE!!!" Serena exclaimed. Just then as Serena was about to move, Everyone from Mia to Dedenne fell into a hole as well. "I don't like this place..." Serena said.

Back with Turk and Girth, Chespin is seen digging a small hole. "That's it, Chespin! You can do it." Turk encouraged. "It seems that their Chespin is learnin'n the moves pretty darn fast, if I say so myself." Girth said. "Alright, Chespin one more time and let's see if we can get the move perfect. DIG!" Turk commanded. Chespin jumped up into the air and quickly slashed through the ground doing a perfect Dig attack. "Way to go!" Turk said. Just then a small sound echoed through the underground hole. "What was that?" Turk said, looking around. "I'm not sure?" Girth replied. They both peeked around the each corner until suddenly out came Serena's Fennekin.

"Fennekin?" Turk said. Chespin ran up to the small fox Pokemon. "Is that you Fennekin? Serena's Fennekin?" Turk reassured. "Fen-fen!" Fennekin smiled. "How did you get down here? Is Serena with you?" Turk asked. Fennekin looked down to the ground and sighed. "I'll take that as a no."

"So this Fenn-ee-ken is your lil frien?" Girth asked. Turk picked Fennekin up and turned to Girth. "Yup, that's right. But it's a friends.. So I don't know why she's not here with Fennekin?" Turk wondered. "Maybe this Pokemon fell down one of these holes as well?" Girth said. "Maybe?"

Turk turned back around to Chespin, "You ready?" Turk asked. Chespin nodded his head. "Alright, Chespin use Dig attack and dig through these rocks!" Turk commanded. Fennekin jumped up with Chespi n and they both performed the attack together. "Wow, this is great. We can use all three Pokemon to dig and we can get to the half mile quicker!" Turk exclaimed. "Alright then, Sandslash, you to go an diggin up with them." Girth commanded. Sandslash did just that and helped dig with Fennekin and Chespin. Everybody else shuffled behind quickly.

Back with the others, Serena, Mia and Dedenne are walking the tunnels. "Why are there so many tunnels here?" Serena wondered. "Maybe they are for the diggwets?" Mia suggested. "But Digglets aren't common here?" Serena replied. Just then out of the blue, Chespin and the others pooped right out of the rubles in front of them. "Chespin? FENNEKIN!" Serena grabbed them both and squeezed them. "Why is there a Sandslash?" Mia wondered, petting it's head. Just then Girth and Turk pooped right out. "Serena! Mia! Dedenne??" Turk said. "Long story, but Turk! I'm so glad we found you." Serena said hugging him tightly as well. "Ek..Serena.. Your hurting me.." Turk squirmed. "Oops.. Sorry. I'm just so happy to see you again, safe." Turk turned back at Girth, "Are we their yet?" Serena looked at them both. "What do you mean?" Serena asked. "This is Girth and he's the owner of these tunnels and there suppose to keep bad guys out from here. He said there was a half mile and it would help us escape from these tunnels." Turk explained. "He's right. Like said, I'm Girth lil Missy and I believe we are almost there." Girth said. "Awesome, how much farther?" Serena asked. "If we all work together we can at least get to my secret base and I can fly us out of here." Girth explained. "Then let's do this?" Turk said. "And Mia you can help too."

"Can I?" Mia asked. "Of course, Reunclusis can use Psychic to pick the rubble away while we dig." Turk explained. "Yay!! Derek come on out and use Psychic!!" Mia commanded. "Alright, Fennekin, Chespin and Sandslash get ready and use Dig again!!" Turk said. All the Pokemon saluted and started to dig away quickly. Everyone once again shuffled their way out from the tunnel. After a while they finally stopped to rest. Girth got up and moved a huge rock out of the way. Everyone watched him as he order Sandslash to use Secret Power. Just then everyone teleported into a office room. "Woh.. What just happened?" Turk asked. "We have reach my here office and we are ready to begin leaving. Let me just pick up my Pokemon and we can start headin out." Girth explained. Went over to his desk and opened a file cabinet, grabbing a Ultraball. "Ready?" Girth asked. "Everyone nodded. Sandslash used Secret Power again and they were back outside the room.

"Alright buddy, time to shine once more!" Girth threw out the Pokemon and out came a huge silver, metal like bird Pokemon that towered over everyone. Serena grabbed out her Pokedex,

"Skarmory, the Armor Bird Pokémon. Skarmory's body is covered with a steel-like armor, and can fly at speeds of over 100 mph."

"Get on everyone." Girth smiled. "Where did you get this Pokemon?" Turk asked in awe. "I caught this lil booger when I was out doing a quick mission at Mt. Silver, in the Johto Region. We quickly became friens ever since." Girth explained. "Now is everyone ready?" He asked. "Yup." Mia said. "Then, yip-yip!" The Skarmory busted right through the thick underground and spun up into the sky. It then safely landed right on the ground. Everyone got off. "That was soooooo much fun!!! Can we do it again!" Mia said. "Noooo." Serena and Turk said together. "Awe man.." Mia said. "Thank you so much for helping us, Girth." Turk said. "It was no biggie. as long as your friens don't come back we should all be fine." Girth joked. Everyone laughed together. "Don't worry.. They shouldn't be back anytime soon." Turk said. Everyone said goodbye and then headed back into the forest heading their own way.

"Wait?" Turk said. "What?" Serena asked. "Wasn't their a Inkay with us??" He said. "I didn't see no Inkay with us, big cous?" Mia said. "Hmmm... I wonder?" Turk said.
